Esvin History Highlights

1993 – Company formed 1996 – Became the first New Zealand based cork supplier to achieve ISO 9001 accreditation 1998 – Formed a joint venture with Gravure Packaging to manufacture PVC capsules 2000 – Became the first major supplier of screwcaps to the New Zealand wine market 2004 – Installed a domestically based screwcap manufacturing facility 2006 – Sold screwcap operation to Guala Closures; the largest screwcap manufacturer in the world 2006 – Stephen Forrest became sole shareholder in Esvin taking full control of the company 2007 – Began importing glass wine bottles from China 2011 – Became the first supplier to introduce CMC to the domestic market 2012 – Purchased a Q-check camera bottle inspection system to ensure consistent product quality. 2021 – Introduced new products from Sofralab including KTS Flot and Selectys thiol
