Beco Filter Cartridges

Filter cartridges are used for the clear filtration of liquids with low solids content up to a maximum of 0.1 percent by weight.

Possible applications for filter cartridges range from particle separation through depth filter cartridges (Beco Protect) to sterile filtration and separation of micro-organisms via membrane filter cartridges (Beco Membrane).

With separation limits between 100μm and 0.2μm, the Beco cartridge range covers a very broad spectrum of liquid filtration applications.  Moreover, a variety of filter media and types are available.  In addition to different filter lengths between 10″ (25cm) and 40″ (100cm), a variety of adapter types are available.

Beco Membrane PS – filter cartridges made from PES material, used for the sterile filtration of liquids.  They are characterised by long service life, high bacteriological safety, and very good chemical stability.  They are mainly used in the beverage and food industry.

Beco Protect® PB – filter cartridges made from melt-blown PP material, used in particle filtration applications.  The depth filter cartridges with nominal retention rates have high chemical resistance.  They are mainly used in the beverage and food industry.

Beco Protect® PG – filter cartridges made from high quality wrapped polypropylene fleeces, used in fine and clarification filtration applications.  The depth filter cartridges are characterised by very high service life, outstanding backwashability, chemical resistance, and “absolute” retention rates.  They are mainly used in the beverage and food industry.

Beco Protect® PP – filter cartridges made from high quality pleated polypropylene fleeces, used in fine and clarification filtration applications.  The depth filter cartridges are characterised by high service life, chemical resistance, and “absolute” retention rates.  They are mainly used in the beverage and food industry.

Beco Protect® TS – this unique depth filter cartridge combines two filter cartridge elements, thus offering significantly greater filter surface area with fine filter material.  This innovation leads to lower blocking tendency, resulting in twice the filter service life compared with conventional standard filter cartridges.  These filters are used in a variety of applications in the beverage and food industry.
